Seeing that Summer is almost over. While many of us are possibly going back to school, or just working regularly. I decided to write a list of things to definitely start doing. Before getting back in your regular schedule, you should add one of these tips into your daily life. Many of these tips allow your mind to relax, and feel stress-free overall. So here are the tips that can evolve your everyday living, and not just help your mind, but also body. Here are things to start doing now to get you up, and going.
1. Reflect on your day every day!
Reflecting on your days of life are like a treasure. Allowing yourself to reflect, allows you to live through the moments of your day again. A reflection journal simply lets you connect with yourself again. Life learned lessons, experiences, anything can be reflected in a day. So give yourself another reason to write.
2. Smile & laugh more.
Smiling and laughing are definitely the keys to happiness. It’s not just healthier to laugh and smile, but also peaceful. The endorphins in your body are released when you laugh which helps relieve stress you. Go out, and smile at strangers, warm someones heart with your smile. A smile can be very comforting, especially when a day is rough.
3. Try something new & experiment.
Trying something new, and experimenting with different things lets you not just find yourself even more, but figure out things like what you need, want, like, or even love. The point of these exercise is for you to broaden your mind. Anxiety may at times get the best of us, but I believe that if you open yourself to trying new things. The possibilities are limitless!
4. Be Active.
Nothing is better then going outside to be more active. Living a healthy, and active lifestyle helps with daily living. Staying outside for a couples hours of the day, and being active strengthens your body, and mindset also. Wether you’re running, swimming, playing tennis, or going roller skating. The point of this idea is for you to stay active throughout the day. So get up, and go running.
5. Catch up with old friends.
No one likes a friend who never wants to get out, and do things. Making sure you keep contact with your friends gives you options for your weekends, and also an ear to be listen to when needed. Friends are the best to have, especially in rough times. Contacting an old friend once in a while shows them that you are thinking about them. A friend who cares, and listens is a great friend to have.
6. Drink lots of water, and green tea.
Hydrating your body constantly makes you feel better, and what’s better then water & green tea. Green tea helps boost your metabolism, and is also very good for helping with weight loss. Green tea and water are also very good for your skin. Green tea, having many nutrients can lower the risk of cancer. Green tea is also proven to make the brain smarter. While drinking water can improve mood, help aids weight lost. Water can also relieve migraines and headaches.
7. Reading is fundamental.
Taking some time for yourself to relax and read is sometimes the best thing to do. Reading doesn’t just put you into another world completely with an entire new cast.Reading improves vocabulary, and also reduces stress. It allows you to use your creativity, and imagination. Learning other experiences by reading books is a fantastic experience to go through.
8. Don’t dwell on the past.
Dwelling on the past isn’t always best. You should never worry about your past,and understanding the present is what is important. Worrying is never a good trait to have, especially when its about the past. Leaving the past, where its meant to be is a lot better then trying to pull the topic up again. The point in our lifetime is for us to move on, and continue to be happy with our lifestyle no matter the person or problem.
9. Good vibes.
Let all of the positivity breath through you, and your friends. Connecting yourself with complimenting people allows the vibes to grow into even better ones. Having a great support system, and creative outlet take stress away from your surrounds more often. So branch out, and seek positivity!
10. Eat a bit healthier.
Having a great and well-balanced meal is important for your body, and peace of mind. Allowing yourself to indulge more in foods also helps develop your pallet. The most important tip from this list is to ensure that you keep living life balanced, with a positive outlook. Leave the negative aspects away from your life. Pick up a book, and go outside. There’s something new to learn everyday about yourself, its just waiting for you to look for it. Enjoy living with the people you surround yourself with, in a life filled with happiness. Never stop living for anyone, and always keep your head up!
